Violence Prevention and Education
In collaboration with other local community partners, over the last few years, IKRON has been part of a collaboration to reduce violence exposure and prevent violent behavior in inner-city youth. Our unique approach that combines elements of Rehabilitation Counseling, Milieu therapy, and employment, have proven to be successful with many of the youth participating in our programs.
68% of youth served at IKRON reported a reduction in violent behavior as a result of program participation.
